CS12.75 Parts

I have a Miller 185DX welder with a Kohler Command Pro CS12.75 engine. In recent months, it has begun burning oil and is now starting to blow blue smoke from the exhaust.

Because the engine has been in service for over 10 years, I want to do a total rebuild. However, I’m having trouble finding rebuild kits for the CS12.75. Any advice?

I don't think Kohler has a rebuild kit for the CS12 per say besides you will need to know if you are able to go to either .25mm or .50mm oversize. This should be know before you even try to put together a kit list or order parts. Otherwords the cylinder needs checking and ridged honed before even ordering parts as the engine may be already worn too much.

Also I don't anything at Kohler plus on CS12.5 and I ma assuming the engine's decal will have the engine listed as CS12 plus the spec number will I find two engine listed as used on Miller.
