Vintage (like me) Sears Craftsman "Driftbuster" 536909800

Hello all. Looking for an axle drive gear or a good description (# of teeth, diameter, thickness, axle bore) I think it is part #26 on Searspartsdirect.com  wheel assembly exploded views.
Long shot, I know, but I've been good all year!
Thanks
Ryan

Murray has been for quite some time now. Even Briggs has purchase the company they don't make this part any more. The PN is 27189. And roll pin would need to be obtained locally.

Now for a little good news. There one new part available on eBay.

Finally got to open it up. Sprockets are fine(PO stated they had broken teeth), chain was stretched so much that I could almost remove it without finding the master link. So got that all cleaned up, fired it up, put it in gear and it takes off without depressing lever. Drive belt appeared wider than the auger belt, couldn't find numbers on either. All powerful internet tells me both belts are the same. A run to the hardware store (second today) for a pair of belts. Get both on without much trouble. Loosened both tension idlers as much as possible. Fired it up and it still starts moving when put into gear without depressing lever.
The belts called out are 37"x.5. will a 38" be too long? or should I go with a 37.5"
    Thanks

There is a problem going aftermarket belts that I have found. Many are shorter with a few long the label spec size. Before trying longer belt verify the belt that you just brought size. Just going 1/2 inch is a huge difference at 37 inches. Also make sure your pulleys are rust free as that will make them grabby.

This receiving the wrong size belts go so bad here that I had to purchase a v-belt measuring tool. I ended up throwing over a $1000 in belts that were up to 2 inches short. I finally gave up on aftermarkets and only buy OEM whenever possible now. My aftermarket belt supplier is still mad at me as stop buying over nearly $2000 in vbelts annually. I did luck out on this as I landed OEM distributor which the belts are nearly the same cost as the aftermarkets.
