Knock sound/ but tight rod

Generac 7500 had a motor knock I took everything apart and the rod bearings we're tight on the crank and they had no indication of damage where could the knock be coming from

    Check your wristpin clearance as well as the piston to cylinder.

    Won't hurt to change the spark plugs. A couple years ago I had a backpack blower that was knocking and turned out to be a failing spark plug. Just a thought.
