generac pressure washer

my generac pressure washer will not stop surging at high rpm with no load. when you put a load on it it's fine. i would like to fix that issue. i live in a neighborhood and it is annoying. any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Surging is usually associated with a dirty carberator / lean condition.

I gather the RPMs are at approx 3,600 and the surging is then with the trigger RELEASED?

is there a high speed jet just like the idle jet?

Yes, they'll be both, a high speed and low speed jet.

Can you post a model # of the ENGINE?

We can look up a pic of the carb disassembled..

When you cleaned the carb, did you get to any jets with the bowl off, etc?
Or just spray down the outside?

i didnt get to any jets but the idle jet under the engine speed screw.
