Hi im looking for a diagram for where thr springs for the belt go on a 33 inch deck.Thanks

The #6 spring was hooked but another spring about same size was just laying near the spindle.It must pull the idler pulley  opposite of spring # 6 to put tension on the belt but i dont see anything to hook it to.Also their is nothing to make any kind of adjustment

There's usually just one heavy spring to keep tension on the belt.  There may much smaller one's as a safety brake system.
 
Also, there usually is no adjustment for the belt.  
 
If a PTO (electric push / pull), the belt is always tight.  PTO engages/disengages the belt.
 
If a manual blade engagement lever on the console, there's usually a spring loaded cable to take up slack and keep proper tension on the belt..
 
Remember, that unit has very likely been tinkered with MANY TIMES over the years...
 
I would print out the parts diagram and go closely over that with what you have...

Hi i got it all back together and it seems to work.I will know more  when i mow the lawn.Thanks for all the replies and help.
