Honda GX340 runs extremely poor and will only smooth out with full choke. It will run at lower choke settings, but with a bad surge. This engine is on a snowblower. The carburetor is brand new Honda make OEM and I’m at my wits end.. Anybody with some good advice I’d be interested in hearing it. Thank you.

Are you sure you put the gasket in between the engine and carb?
