I have an older Husqvarna tiller that is smoking. On a level of 1-10 the difficulty with re-ringing it. On a good day I operate on a skill level of ten (key words: Good Day)

Pretty much the same as any other OHV engine but it has a cam BELT.
 
Once the heads off, same as your other machines..  I would give it a light hone
before new rings..
