Also, what I like to do is when I'm fixing or done with float / needlework / cleaning is
take a brake bleeder tool. It'll pull a vacuum, and show on the gauge if it holds or not.
Flip the carb upside down (or gently push up on the float) and hook a line between the inlet
and the tool. Pull a vacuum and see if it holds-It should...
As a side note, I got a Generac pressure washer in today-Hydro locked / leaking fuel from the carb.
Pulled the spark plug/spit a BUNCH of fuel out and addressed the carb.
With the float all the way up, it's now touching the carb body (too high) and just not holding
a vacuum, barely... The floats not adjustable, the needle slightly worn- Found the issue-parts ordered..
The vacuum gauge just confirms no "come backs" and the issue is fixed...
