My Dad got me on Seafoam about 45 yrs ago. Once you open the can, use some & recap it. It will stay good on the shelf forever. It does not go bad. & can stabilize gas for 2 years (I have tested that). I have even put some in an air gun that was gonna need taken apart to clean, but the Seafoam took care of it.
Not bashing Sta-Bil, but once you open it, best to write the date on the bottle, cause it will go bad by 2 yrs & can only stabilize for 1 year.
I only use 100% gas, & I get my Seafoam from Wally world for like $6. for 16 oz bottle.
