I have a Husqvarna 455 chainsaw that won't start. I have good spark and fuel. The compression is only at 60 psi, it should be around 120 psi. What would cause the compression not go over 60 psi? I clean the compression relief button and it still remains too low to start. Anyone have any thoughts?

Pull the muffler and inspect the piston.

You likely have scoring to the piston and thus the cylinder wall.

Getting over heated, lean running or straight fuel can cause the issue.

If the piston / cylinder looks fine, you'll need to pull the cylinder and
measure the piston ring end gap (for a worn ring(s).

Thanks for the help. I will pull off the muffler and take a look.
