On a model 71196 Wheel Horse mower, How do you replace the PTO Safety Switch.  Seems like the access is almost inaccessible.
Is there any way to bypass the switch to allow me to start the mower? Are there any wires or connectors that one can view looking at the engine near the starter etc??

The parts diagrams are very limited and I don't even see a PTO..
 
Are you referring to a push /pull PTO switch, another electrical switch?
 
Or does yours have a mechanical lever you move (near the steering wheel) to activate the blades?
