Looking for info on A K161S Spec. No. 281108J. How can I find out what V. reg. goes on this eng. It Has rope and battery start. Runs good but I would like a battery start option. Serial no. D276946, if it helps. All help appreciated. Thank you bbt.

Does the flywheel have a ring gear or teeth on it?

The electric start used on that engine was probably a belt driving a Delco-Remy generator, find a llate fifties/early sixties GM car with a 12 volt system. You will also need a suitable pulley bolted to the flywheel
