Hey guys. I'm new to this forum. I picked this website because they are the biggest jokers on showing on a search that they have the diagrams I'm looking for and never help with what part goes where. It's with all the sites as well.
All I'd like to find is a carburetor diagram for the sportsman 4000 surge/ 3250 running watt generator.
These companies aren't out to help it seems. They just want that sale.
If it's not a ****ty picture . They just push another cheap carburetor that'll fail just like the one I have in another 3 years. Then I have a box full of ****ty, cheap crap.
Just show me the way to how to understand how the parts go together.
Then I'd like to see a demonstration on adjusting the carb once I have it together.
That's all I'm asking for.
And when I find that company who was thinking of the customer and how to help me. I'll probably order from then on till I quit working on small engines.

What specific engine do you have?  Is a knock off Chinese Honda engine?

If so, that's why you can't find parts diagrams for them.

Most carbs, especially the smaller ones like yours, would be are pretty much the same.

Remove the carb, then float bowl.  They'll be a float and attached a needle and pin

Problem area's are the jets getting clogged from old fuel turning into varnish.
Many Briggs, the main jet IS the nut holding the bowl on.  Other machines will have the main jet/nozzle tucked up inside the bowl holding nut.

All those orifices need to be spotless and free of any crap..
