Got a Generac 22KW generator in late 2020. Per Tech, it has run a total of 10 hours. Has been broken for six months. I can’t get it repaired or replaced by Generac despite multiple correspondence. It cost $16k to install the system. I have a 10-year warranty. Anybody have an idea why Generac would not repair my generator?

What do they say the reason is?

They basically "ghost" me with no responses to my status requests. They say they are investigating. Last communication requested I send them pictures. I suspect it may be a dispute between corporate and the local company. Just guessing.

May I ask what the issue is / what's it do or don't do?  

The generator stopped working. There have numerous attempts to fix it with different parts being swapped out. I think the Tech believes it is a factory defect. The device that generates the electricity is not working. This is a major part.

I'd write to the highest person at Generac you can reach... 
 
I'd "mention" you have a lawyer on retainer if need be.  
If still no response, 16K is a bunch of $ to be out, hire a lawyer.

Good answer, just call the attorney now and have them write a letter to Generac. That should it and only caost 100$ or so. Small investment for your 16K
