My 2007 command engine was run low on oil most likely overheated and either dropped a valve or a lifter if that's even possible? I could get a new head for $160 do you think that would take care of my damages or maybe on yhe site here someone has an old one laying around?

What specific issue(s) do you have now?
 
Depending on your answer, I wouldn't buy anything until pulling the head for inspection.
 
That'll give you an idea on the blocks condition, top of the piston, head, valves , etc.
