Both ways. We're checking for restrictions...

Rocker arms, torque specs
I went the feeler gauge route at first.......then, I decided to go with the torque specs
Just a hunch, but the rocker nuts might be too tight.
I'll try the feeler gauge spec's now

The nuts are just to lock down the adjuster.
You HAVE TO SET THE VALVES to the spec's using a feeler gauge. Usually at TDC compression
stroke.
Adjust the valves, then lock down the nut to the torque spec's...

I am at TDC compression stroke
Neither rocker is cooperating
The intake, no matter how much I turn the nut, its too loose, cant get to the recommended spec
The other rocker, too tight

The head bolts are snug, basically hand tight

The intake rocker I now have at feeler gauge spec, but not torque spec
The exhaust rocker, I put a .65 feeler gauge in it, supp to be .13
