Chinese QL160 engine inverter generator

Low oil cut off

Can anyone explain what this component does ? I kmow the oil level sensor is inside the crankcase and I assumed it was float switch so why is this extra part needed ?..

Kipor 3000 ti with rod knock?

I just got this for $50 but not sure I got a deal . .it is a kipor 3000ti and I got it running but it has what I think is a rod knock. Can anyone tell me what this knocking noise is? Briggs & Stratton REV 030795-00

My electric start no longer works. The lights work but when I press the start button, it just moans slightly and the start-button light turns red. I can easily manually pull start with 1 or 2 pulls but electric is the problem. Can anyone give me suggestins?..
