1/2 inch belt or 5/8

murray 465306x8a drive/motion belt calls for a 37 x112ma. I looked up this belt and it is a 5/8. I have a 1/2 inch belt on hand. Any problem running the 1/2 inch until I get the 5/8 belt delivered/ thanks..

1995 MTD Yard Tractor

Does anyone know how to find the model number on a yard tractor if the sticker is gone from under the seat… I only know it’s a 95’ model by the number on the motor - . It’s got a 42”deck..

Craftsman LT1500 valve lash goes out of spec when blades engage

Every time I engage the blades on my Craftsman LT1500, the valve lash goes out of spec (loosens) and I get popping sounds. I adjust the engine to TDC, and re spec the lash, and tighten the lock screws down good. This happens within a minute of engaging the blades but no issues when not under load. S..
