Knocking Briggs 15.5 Vertical Engine

Engine is a 31R707-0001-G1. Had to replace the compression release cog. Put everything back together, set the valves. Getting a low throttle knocking sound which was probably there prior. It isn't at the rocker arms. No bent rods. Seems like there is some play at the piston arm (lower) and the count..

Failure to start - loose wire

20hp intek vtwin rocker arm question

have low hour motor that has been maintained, my question is does the intek motor have the same rocker arms as the commercial models ??? My rocker arm adjustment stud stripped the threads on the rocker arm. This shouldn't have happened so I'm wondering if the commercial grade motor has better set up..
