if your a cheapo you can also soak both in solvent and make sure there are no holes then dampen with gear oil before re-installation..

That, NEEDS REPLACING... Their cheap enough. A knock off on Flea Bay is better than that one. Besides making the engine run richer (lesser air flow), and make more carbon (bad),dust / crap sucked in will certainly shorten the life of the engine / top end... BTW, it won't cause overheat nor seize the..
